Ms. Negrete was born and raised in Salinas, California where she currently resides. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice from California State University, Sacramento and Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Monterey College of Law. Ms. Negrete joined the Law Offices of Lawrence & Peck in 2016 as a Law Clerk, and after obtaining her State Bar certification transitioned into an Associate Attorney.
Ms. Negrete brings with her the passion and determination to protect the rights of those who have been criminally charged and who are potentially facing the most difficult time in their life. She is committed to obtaining the best possible outcomes for her clients while helping them navigate through the process and address underlying challenges that may have led to encounters with the law. She is admired, respected and trusted by her clients.
Ms. Negrete serves as a Director for the Monterey County Bar Association and the Monterey County Bar Foundation, and as a member of the Monterey County Superior Court Joint Committee on the Elimination of Bias. In 2023, Ms. Negrete served as the President of the Monterey County Bar Association and continues to serve on the board as the co-chair for the Lawyer Referral Service Governing Committee.
